NOTES: BRADING CHURCH and OLD TOWN HALL, Brading, Isle of Wight. A small but exquisite aquatint of this fine church, St Mary the Virgin, on the Isle of Wight. The original hand colouring gives a wonderful finesse to this print.
Externally, the Church is much as it was 200 years ago. It has a fine collection of stained glass windows. The Old Town Hall was rebuilt in 1875, so rather different today.
Brading is also famous for the nearby Roman Villa, which has many fine mosaics.
CONDITION: Very good, 2” margins all round
