NOTES:     A really interesting and detailed view of the Abbey remains, seen from the SE, the view shows a number of architectural features no longer there. There are remnants of half a dozen windows, relating to the post-Dissolution use of the Abbey. Also, various agricultural buildings are shown long since swept away.


CONDITION:     The image area is very good. We had to ‘rescue’ this print, as it was such an interesting view - the margins for some strange reason had been folded in. However, the picture has been professionally cleaned and pressed, so when mounted looks just fine.
