NOTES: BARRINGTON PARK An attractive print of this little known Cotswolds house, near Burford.
This print shows the original Georgian House, which had wings applied to it in the C19. Under threat for some years, apparently a repair scheme is in place.
Paul Sandby was one of our greatest topographic artists, and this print appeared in his book of country houses, ‘Select Views . . . ’.
CONDITION: Very good, modern colour, but pleasantly done, in mount.
